Recall the incidents where kids are used to make an example for others, for paper, finger, pastry and shirt guns?
The “zero tolerance” policies are actually aversion therapy. There can be no doubt of that when the offending devices are drawings, or chewed up pop-tarts.

A Queens man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly firing a lifelike weapon and handing it over to his toddler-age son.
The man’s family, however, called it all an overreaction to toy guns.
