Jim Willie: ZIRP- The Death Knell

Another public article from Jim Wille. This one may be a little more understandable, as he is not speaking to egg heads and his conclusion are are plain language.

ZIRP is the Zero Interest Rate Policy. The low interest rate environment kills capital, reduces the capital base, and smothers the USEconomy.

Jim says that “Not one in ten economists comprehends this basic point.”
That is almost self-evident, isn’t it?

ZIRP is consistent with all the other actions, laws and executive orders that have debased the US and much of the world. Pay attention and you will know more than any one in the propaganda media machine.

The article actually begins after the ad for Silver Eagles, and contains the opening text.

.

The propaganda has been thick over the last few years, especially since the US banking system suffered a fatal heart attack in September 2008.  It has not recovered since, still insolvent, still wrecked, having returned a zombie center with a USTBond carry trade core and continued money laundering basement lifeline.  The Jackass is tired beyond words, beyond description, of hearing that the Zero Percent Interest Policy is being kept as a stimulus measure to encourage continued economic recovery. It is neither a stimulant, nor is the USEconomy in recovery mode.
